Big Yellow Door Nursery will ensure a safe, secure high quality welcoming and inclusive environment allowing all children to thrive within a stimulating environment whilst also providing every parent with peace of mind to feel relaxed and confident whilst they are away from their loved ones.
We are a private run nursery operating from within the beautiful grounds of Ranby House School. We believe in working closely with our families and carers to provide the best possible start to your child's education.
We offer childcare between the core hours of 8:30am – 16:30pm . We can also offer flexible hours to suit families with additional hours available from 8:00am – 17:30pm
Funded Hours
We offer government funded places for children who are 9 months - 24 months.
These hours are offered term time only in accordance with Newark & Sherwood District Council.
How is our funding calculated?
We apply the government funding through out the year and will deduct the funded hours off your child's booking pattern each week.
We also add an additional charge to cover food we provide as this is not part of the government funding.
It's so important for us that our families get information on their child's daily routine and progress while they are with us at nursery.
We use an online system to record information to share with our families through Parenta.
Families will be added to the system by our Office Manager, details of how to log in and set your password will be sent directly to you.
We encourage all our families to use Parenta to see what your child has been doing, families can also make comments and add home photo's to share with the team.
